Damian McCarthy
Managing Partner
Damian is Managing Partner of Expand Research and is responsible for driving Expand’s global business. In addition, Damian is Partner & Expand Chief Client Officer (CCO) for all European-based client relationships of the firm.
In his role, Damian coordinates closely with BCG on group client engagements and product strategy. Since joining the firm in 2008, Damian has been integral to the inception, buildout and delivery of some of Expand’s most successful industry wide offerings.
Damian has over 15 years of experience in financial markets and functions including trading, technology, operations, and corporate functions. He also takes great pride in leading a number of annual C-level executive forums and industry roundtables.
Damian holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Law.
David Lefferts
Partner – Head of Americas
David is the regional head of Expand Research’s Americas business and is Partner & Expand Chief Client Officer (CCO) for all Americas-based client relationships of the firm.
David has 25 years of experience in financial services across capital markets (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and payments (high-value and real-time). Most recently David was a Managing Director with SWIFT, leading their key strategic initiatives in payments and compliance in North America, working closely with global banks and market infrastructures. Before that, David held MD/senior product, strategy, and business development roles at IHS Markit, FINRA, and Thomson Reuters’ subsidiary Instinet Group.
David holds an MBA from Columbia University.
